你实验过了么？我理解它这个文章的意思是说这个patch用于SGI的IRIX会有这么好的
效果，但是用于其他OS就不一定了吧。
我在我得机器上试验了一下，RedHat 6.0，pII400，192RAM，
新安装两个apache-1.3.9，其中一个没有加这个patch，另一个加了patch，
然后在另外机器上用apache带的 ab 分别测试，，结果这两个 server
的性能基本上没有什么区别。。:((
