As some bugs have found their way into XBlast 2.2, I just
have uploaded an update for XBlast 2.2 to XBlast 2.2.1, which
help you to get rid of them. You can just retrieve the update

WHAT IS XBLAST?

XBlast is a multi-player arcade game for X11R5/R6. The game can be
played with at least two players and up to four players. It can use one
to four X displays for output. XBlast supports color and monochrome
graphics. It was inspired by the video/computer game Bomberman
(Dynablaster), which was to my knowledge first programmed for NEC's PC
Engine/Turbo Grafx. Other (commercial) versions of the original game
exist for IBM-PC, Atari ST, Amiga, NES, GameBoy and Super NES.

WHATS NEW IN V2.2.1

o "name bug" in Interactive Setup, when using fork mode removed.
   Fork mode is now saved to setup files

o DSP sound mode queried by Interactive Setup (Linux)
   DSP sound setup saved to setup file

o The Button extra is now distributed, right after taking it.

o Star extras (invincibility) are now cumulative.

o XBlast now allocates a private colormap, if necassary.

o Window title now displays players' names.

o Colors for player #6 are changed

o  added F31 as stop key (needed for some Solaris machines)

o Added template level-file "level-edit/Template.h" and put addLevel script
   back into the distribution.

PLATFORMS

It should compile on almost any UN*X with X11R5/R6.  XBlast 2.0 was
tested under Linux, HPUX, Ultrix, SunOS, Solaris, NetBSD and IRIX.
Older version were known to run under OSF, AIX, LynxOS.
