关于软件的关于软件的XIM支持,大家已经讨论很多了,无论是VIM,gedit,koffice都支持
XIM了,论坛上也有相应的文章讲述如何使XEmacs支持XIM.
一个偶然的机会发现一个日本人写了个补丁程序使GNU Emacs也支持XIM了,所以赶快拿来
试一试,还真不错.下面是我的安装过程.
软件:
1.emacs-20.7-17.src.rpm;rpmfind.net
2.emacs20-xim-20000713.tar.gz;http://www.ainet.or.jp/~inoue/software/emacs-x
im/index-e.html
安装过程很简单:
1.rpm -Uvh emacs-20.7-17.src.rpm
2.tar zxvf emacs20-xim-20000713.tar.gz
3.cd /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
tar zxvf emacs-20.7.tar.gz
patch < emacs20-xim-20000713.diff
mv emacs-20.7.tar.gz emacs-20.7.tar.gz.old
tar zcvf emacs-20.7.tar.gz emacs-20.7
4.cd /usr/src/redhat/SPECS
rpm -bb emacs.spec
5.卸载旧版本的Emacs,安装新版本的Emacs.
emacs-20.7-17
emacs-nox-20.7-17
emacs-X11-20.7-17
6.vi ~/.emacs,添加如下内容
;; Chinese Environment
(set-language-environment 'Chinese-GB)
(set-keyboard-coding-system 'chinese-iso-8bit)
(set-default-font "-*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-standard"
)
好了,现在起动Chinput3.0.1,然后再运行Emacs,Ctrl+Space激活输入法,可以正常输入并
显示中文了吧?并且最重要的是,绝对没有半字现象!存储的文档可以在其它编辑器中调入
,没有乱码现象,很爽!
本文就是在Emacs下用Chinput3.0.1写的,多谢Yong_Q@USTC的帮助.

gnu emacs 21是支持xim的, 不过我没用过这个功能

chinput 3.01我这里装不上, 也许是locale没设好.  按chinput 3.01的说明编译locale
data的时候出错

你用的是什么输入法?
我编译的chinput 3.01好像没法用.  可以运行, 但按Ctrl-Space没有输入条

我用的就是 Chinput 3.0.1 呀. 不过我就是在 TLC 6.1 里面用的.

Redhat7.0下面可以正常使用。我一直用它（听着怎么象一句电视广告）

执行了, 但是vim(支持xim的版本)执行时显示:
Input Method Server is not running
chinput的进程一直在运行的. 是不是一定要装zwincontrol?

不用装 zwincontrol, 这只是个控制程序.

en, 过两天有空再弄它吧.  chinput 3.0.1好用吗? 造词功能怎么样?
